Bavarian Autosport has been in the BMW parts business since 1974. The company began by repairing and modifying BMW automobiles. At the same time, we started to build an inventory of parts that BMW enthusiasts in the northeast could purchase to do their own repairs and modifications.

In the late 1970s we began to advertise our BMW products nationwide and in 1983 we produced our first catalog (on a Smith-Corona typewriter on Mark's kitchen table). A couple years later we added some black and white photography to the catalog. Color photos soon followed.

I would just like to thank Bavarian Autosport and Alan for helping me with my brakes. It was as easy as your phone rep said it would be. He ensured me that I had all the parts I would need and told me what tools would be required. I was able to change my pads, rotors and sensor wires, and he made sure I had the bolts for the new rotors. My local BMW expert wanted $600.00 for this job using stock parts. By going to Bavarian Autosport I was able to upgrade to Pagid pads and cross-drilled rotors and the total, including shipping, was only $524.40. I saved money and was able to increase the performance of my barge (88 735i)... I look forward to working with you folks again.

I just wanted to drop you a line about your cold air induction kit. I installed the kit yesterday afternoon on my 2002 325 CI convertible in about 45 minutes utilizing just a few basic tools. The fit and finish on the kit is extraordinary and the included instructions are perfect. Upon test driving the car I was able to notice an improvement in performance as well a healthier sounding engine. Thanks for the advice and timely shipping.

Can I tell you guys that you do a great job?! I have been making purchases from you for years and they always seem to be in stock, always ship the same day or next, at latest, and are always delivered on time. You send e-mails which encompass all the normal information that a customer would want, and your prices are fair to say the least. Thanks for "jammin'" on my recent order for a set of Bavarian Autosport plush mats, along with the custom block embroidery for my 635! When I ordered them last week, the phone rep reminded me that they require 2-3 weeks leadtime (which was already noted in your catalog), so I acknowledged the schedule and planned to receive them in time for the local clean car event. Well, to my great surprise, the delivery van pulled up today and delivered the mats. WOW!! I immediately tossed out the tired mats and replaced them with my new plush ones... a perfect fit, and the silver embroidery matches the silver side stripe on my 6er. BAS has delivered again!

I have owned an E30 M3 and now an E36 M3 and just want to thank you for always providing great service and quick shipping. I have yet to find a company with a staff of professionals as knowledgeable as Bavarian Autosport.

I'm in the process of restoring a 1984 M635CSi. One problem I had was a balky instrument cluster whose lights and gauges seemed possessed. My local dealer quoted me $750 to replace the PC board and temp gauge. I then received my Fast Times newsletter with an exact description of my problem and the required fix. I ordered the PC board, installed it myself in an hour and saved about $500 in the process. (I ordered new headlights and buckets with the savings!)

I purchased the brake upgrade kit that Bavarian Autosport offers. I also purchased your one-man brake bleeder. Installation of this very complete package was extremely easy... everything fit, and no additional components were needed. The bleeder worked as advertised, and the entire effort took about 2-3 hours (which is great for me). The brakes are great (less fade) and, compared to other brake kits, yours is a bargain. Overall, I am very pleased with the entire experience, from discussions with your phone reps all the way through to the road performance. Well done, Bavarian Autosport! Thank you,

Thank you very much for the advice on my water pump! I compare prices often and found that not only was Bavarian Autosport the least expensive place to buy the pump, it also came with the gasket, which no other site included -- you had to buy it separately. Well done!
